Advantagene
has active clinical programs in prostate, brain and pancreatic cancer. Randomized clinical data
from these products is expected within 36 months. Advantagene also has safety
data from a completed Phase I study in ovarian cancer with positive
indications. However, due to limited resources, the Company is not
currently pursuing this indication.

The
Company has a rich research pipeline in particular applications of
TKR variants and in early development efforts in two platform
technologies. The first
of these technologies produces a synergy between two viral vector
platforms to generate a single chimeric molecule. The second provides a unique
gene regulation technology independent of promoter and enhancer
regions in the vector.
This technology allows the control of gene expression by a
“digital” switch tightly aligned to the cellular gene expression
milieu. Both of these
platform technologies provide great potential in the Company’s core
interest of cancer gene therapy as well as enormous opportunities
for partnerships for the development of other
products. |
